To mark 100 years since the birth of the late author T Llew Jones, S4C will broadcast a number of thematic programmes in October. The first, T Llew Jones, on Tuesday 6 October (tonight at 9:30pm), is an insightful documentary, presented by Beti George, about the author born in Pentre-cwrt near Llandysul on 11 October 1915. Ysgol Mynydd Bychan pupils will be appearing on this programme! Don’t forget to watch it!
Hope everybody had a good Summer break! The school will be open to staff only next Tuesday (1/9) and Wednesday (2/9) – pupils return from Thursday (3/9). All Nursery and Reception pupils should’ve received their start dates. Don’t forget that the bell is rung at 8.55 with Reception pupils being collected from the yard in front of the school with Years 1-6 being collected from the back yard.
Please use this app with the children over the summer months – it is a fantastic app for practicing those numeracy skills in preparation for September.
